ATS GUIDE TEAM
The ATS Guides are all Moroccan and English speaking.
ATS Guide Team members are selected for their ability not only to perform their guiding duties to the highest standards but also for their ability to serve our clients very well, with respect and with the greatest care for clients’ wellbeing and safety.
The ATS Guide Team members fall into several types:
ATS Couriers:
Our Couriers accompany a group and they provide all practical, logistical and language help needed to ensure the smooth running of a tour.
ATS Travelling Tour Guides:
Our Guides are deeply knowledgeable in all aspects of Morocco, its history, geography, culture, traditions, lifestyles. Their presence on a tour (on single day tours or on multiple day tours) can deeply enrich the understanding of the tour’s sights and experiences.
ATS City Guides:
It may be that you tour includes visits to some Imperial Cities e.g. Meknes, Fes, Marrakech. It is therefore possible to engage the services of an ATS City Guide for a half/whole day in a particular city in order to maximise on your time in the city and to gain much knowledge about its history and architecture.
ATS Countryside/Mountain Guides: For people who are on our hiking and trekking tours, this type of guide knows the mountain areas very well. They add practical security to a hike/trek as well as gauging the pace at which the day’s walk should be taken. Good relationship with the villages/villagers on the hiking/trekking routes can also allow for some great “happenstance” encounters (and often invitations to take tea in a Berber home).
The provision of any/all of the above types of Guides on your personalised tour is optional. At time of itinerary development what you might wish to have in the way of guiding will be fully discussed.
